Earth, sea and prehistory
The Musée de Lodève shows about forty meteorites until 29 August 2027, including Canyon Diablo, which weighs 420 kg. The exhibition presents them as a source of information on the solar system.
At the Château de Brest, until 7 March 2027, the second part of the cycle "L'appel des profondeurs" covers underwater cartography. It spans five centuries, from early charts populated with fantastic creatures to 3D models. The world's oldest marine cartography service was created in Brest. According to the magazine, the seabed is still less well known than the surface of the Moon.
At the Palais Longchamp, the museums of Marseille and Aix-en-Provence present "Dinosaures de Provence" until 20 June 2027. Provence is known for its dinosaur egg sites, and has also yielded bones, teeth and, more recently, footprints. The show recreates the region as it was 73 million years ago sciencesetavenir.fr

Living things, viruses and time
The Musée de sciences biologiques Dr Mérieux hosts "Cancers : la face cachée des virus" until 31 May 2027. Some viruses, such as the human papillomavirus, can cause cancer, while others may help fight it, the museum says.
The Musée des confluences shows "Animal culte" until 15 August 2027. It examines human attitudes to animals through five themes. The Musée d'ethnographie de Genève asks "Le futur, c'est quoi ?" until 10 January 2027 and compares how different cultures represent time.
The Muséum d'Histoire naturelle de La Rochelle presents the history of marine fauna illustration until 15 January 2027. The Jardin de l'Arquebuse has the comic-style show "VIVANTS !" for young visitors until 3 January 2027. The Musée des Beaux-Arts d'Orléans shows drawings from the Napoleonic Egyptian campaign until 14 March 2027. For its 400th anniversary, the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle has an exhibition on four centuries of artists' views of the living world sciencesetavenir.fr
