On November 6, the SMM 2026 Annual Conference delegation visited Wuxi Zhongding, enhancing understanding of cable manufacturing standards.
On the afternoon of November 6, following a session of speeches organized by Wuxi Zhongding Electrical Machinery Co., Ltd., SMM Information & Technology Co., Ltd. (SMM), and Shandong Aisi Information Technology Co., Ltd., the delegation of the SMM 2026 Annual Conference of the Electrical Materials Industry visited Wuxi Zhongding Electrical Machinery Co., Ltd. The delegation was warmly received by the company's leadership.
The delegation toured the production workshops and precision machining lines of the company, gaining a detailed understanding of the production processes and manufacturing standards for cable-specific equipment, such as high-speed extruders, stranding machines, and cabling machines. Founded in 2008, Zhongding Electrical Machinery impressed the delegation with its continuous investment in CNC machining, independent R&D, and industry-academia collaboration. During the exchange session, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as the automation upgrade of cable equipment, the impact of equipment precision on product consistency, and the downstream companies' demand for high-efficiency and high-quality equipment.
After the visit, the delegation members took a group photo with the company's leadership. This visit provided participants with a more intuitive understanding of manufacturing standards and the progress of localization of cable-specific equipment, as well as creating conditions for better alignment between the various segments of the industrial chain.
