The organizers KIZ Sinnova presented the Hessian Founder Prize to four regional businesses during an evening ceremony at the Capitol in Offenbach, according to hessenschau.de. A total of twelve finalists competed for the top positions, with final placements determined through a combined evaluation by an expert jury and an online public vote [1].

Unlike traditional startup competitions, the award provides non-monetary support rather than direct financial grants. Organizers stated that winning companies receive public visibility, specialized networking opportunities, professional coaching, workshops, and a corporate promotional video [1].

## Technology and Social Innovation Winners

In the "Innovative Business Idea" category, first place went to Enviotech, based in Bad Vilbel. The company engineered an engineering approach designed to intelligently retrofit existing municipal street lighting systems [1].

Frankfurt-based provider Schutzlicht secured the award in the "Social Impact" category. The enterprise offers structured courses focused on self-assertion and protection against domestic violence [1].

## Succession Solutions and University Spin-offs

In the "Sustainable Succession" category, the prize was awarded to Pflegezentrum Rosenhöhe, a care center located in Bad König in the Odenwald district. Organizers noted that the succession arrangement successfully preserved approximately 200 operational jobs [1].

Food manufacturer Mamaye, operating out of Neu-Isenburg, won the "University Startup" category. The venture develops and distributes food items intended to facilitate regular household access to African cuisine in everyday settings [1].
