Ukrainian company UADAMAGE has raised investment from Ondas Capital and Pravo Ventures, AIN.UA reports, citing the company's post on LinkedIn [1]. The amount was not disclosed. The funds will go to developing software for detecting explosive hazards, strengthening the company's work in Ukraine and preparing to enter international markets [1].

## How the detection system works

UADAMAGE develops systems that analyze drone imagery and data from various sensors. Algorithms mark objects on a map that resemble mines or unexploded ordnance [1]. Operators see the coordinates of these objects and the data on which the system flagged them. This helps determine which areas to inspect first, plan clearance and assess risks along routes.

The technology was developed and is used in Ukraine. According to UADAMAGE, the team has worked with field data and operator feedback for more than three years, and its solution has been used in more than 41 completed demining and survey missions [1]. The company also develops the GRIT platform. It combines geospatial information with national datasets so that authorities can set the order of surveying and clearing areas based on security, social, economic and environmental factors.

## Plans and funded projects

With the investment, UADAMAGE plans to expand its capacity for supplying systems, training operators and supporting field teams. Abroad, the company will look for partners among demining operators, system integrators and government customers [1].

Before the investment was announced, UADAMAGE received an EU grant of almost €428 thousand for the Demine on the Fly project. It started in August 2026 and runs until July 2028. Within it, the company plans to integrate into various UAV platforms a system that analyzes video in real time and recognizes explosive items visible on the surface. According to the project description, the model was trained on more than one million images and can recognize about 200 types of such objects [1].

In 2025, UADAMAGE also demonstrated a soil survey system that combines algorithms with a ground-penetrating radar mounted on a drone. At the time of the demonstration, the technology was being tested within a joint initiative of the UN Development Programme and Ukraine's Ministry of Economy.
