The Monument Builders of North America (MBNA) will hold the Monument Industry Show from February 25 to 28, 2027, at the Mobile Alabama Convention Center. This event aims to connect monument builders, manufacturers, and suppliers from across North America to explore the products and practices that shape how families and communities preserve memories. The show will feature a large-scale exhibition alongside educational opportunities and networking for memorial professionals, as reported by newswise.com.

Held biennially, the Monument Industry Show combines exhibitions with educational programming. In alternating years, MBNA organizes MBUniversity, a convention focused on enhancing professional knowledge and skills. The exhibit hall will showcase full-scale monuments, tools, and supplies, allowing attendees to examine products firsthand and meet the designers and producers.

Sean Longstreth, MBNA president, noted that the previous show in Cleveland attracted over 800 attendees, including more than 500 monument retailers, and featured a sold-out exhibit hall. This response highlighted the importance of bringing the industry together to exchange ideas and build relationships. The upcoming show in Mobile aims to build on this momentum, providing opportunities to enhance craftsmanship and business practices in the memorial sector.

Educational programming will include the Commitment to Design Excellence Seminar on February 25, in collaboration with the American Institute of Commemorative Art. This pre-conference seminar will delve into classic memorial designs and the application of traditional design principles to contemporary memorials.

Additionally, two Lunch and Learn sessions will focus on successful business practices for memorial companies. Topics will include building lasting customer relationships and maximizing installation profitability. Short presentations led by exhibitors will also take place on the exhibit floor, introducing new products and innovations.

One- and two-day exhibit-only passes will be available for industry professionals who wish to explore the show floor without full conference registration. MBNA's First Look offer allows eligible monument retail companies to register at the member rate and experience membership benefits for free. Early registration is open until January 22, 2027, with further details available at monumentbuilders.org/2027-monument-industry-show.
